As part of the Design and Technology course at a Community School, students aged 5 and 6 designed fairy houses using wood and a variety of materials. The children then drew signs and titles for their houses. The Pictures were scanned into the computer, loaded into Simple and then printed onto wood using the Vekta Razer saw and P3 Printer. The wood was then painted with a clear stain to protect the signs from the elements. The kids and parents loved seeing their drawings printed on the wood.
