You get someone on there and within half a day they can operate the saw themselves. They pick it up very easily, without any concerns that they will have an accident, unlike the pull saws.

What we used to cut in a day, the Razer will do in a couple of hours. Also our use of timber has improved. We used to carry a lot more stock and different lengths.

FAQ’sabout the DDS

  • Is the DDS scaleable?

Definitely, and offers you the ability to split the conveyor into multiple lines feeding in different directions. Kickoff components can be based on configurable rules for example- type of member, location in truss/frame, dimensions, etc.

  • How many staff do I need to operate and monitor it?

Zero, it doesn’t actually need staff to operate it, this solution offers maximum safety with minimal labor requirements.

  • Is it compatible with Real Time Optimisation?

The DDS is designed to work with Real Time Optimisation and just in time delivery. Utilizing these features you can automate many saw functions and processes that usually require manual labour.

  • Can it work with more than one Saw?

Much of the logic takes place within the saws themselves – optimizing, orientation, order, and kickoff location considerations for example. The cut components are then handed over to the Direct Delivery System with the appropriate information from one or more saws.

  • Is it easy to maintain?

That’s the best part, it is a simple and reliable solution that is designed to be easy to maintain and repair.
